The insurance line is a large independent intermediary. The Insurance Line are a member of the General Insurance Standards Council (GISC)
The Insurance Line's declared aim is to provide a telnet insurance broker service to 100,000 clients UK wide.
The firm was established in 1946 by Frank Hughes who built the business on personal customer care.
The new name, The Insurance Line, was introduced in 1995 to reflect the change in the modern distribution of their products, the telephone and now the internet.
In 2001 The Insurance Line are now a telnet broker.
The Insurance Line will only deal with quality insurance providers. Competitive pricing is good for consumers, however lowest prices often means lower quality beware!
