Accident Recovery Service (Europe wide)
If your car is immobile after an accident, you can call the CIS Emergency Help line. CIS will bring your vehicle home - or to a suitable repairer. They will also transport the driver and up to six passengers home or to the destination. Alternatively, CIS can provide one night's B&B or a replacement vehicle for up to 24 hours.
Emergency Breakdown Service (UK only)
By calling the CIS Emergency Service number CIS can help to organise any of the following (please note that you will be responsible for the costs of call-out, towing, labour or parts):
- Roadside repair or recovery to nearest repairer
- Arrangement for onward transport
- Message service, informing up to two people of your breakdown
- Replacement hire car at discount rates
As a CIS customer you can benefit from CIS Road Rescue Plus; a full Europe-wide rescue and recovery service for breakdown and accident. If your vehicle is immobilised after an accident or breakdown (on the road or at home), CIS can arrange and pay for:
- Up to 1 hour's labour to repair your car
- Recovery of your car to a suitable repairer or your home
- Transport of the driver and up to six passengers home or to the destination (alternatively, we can provide one night's B&B or a replacement vehicle for up to 24 hours)
- Chauffeur to your home if the sole driver is injured or ill and is unable to drive
- Repatriation of driver, car and up to six passengers to the UK, following an accident abroad, where the car cannot be repaired in time for your return home.
