Quoteline Direct are part of the Wilsons Group who are professional registered insurance brokers with a direct approach to customer satisfaction.
In the year that Wilsons served their first customer Man walked on the moon, the Beatles topped the charts with 'Get Back' and Ford launched the first Capri. Many things have changed since 1969 but Quoteline Direct's commitment to first class customer service remains.
Originally operating as a High Street Insurance Brokerage Quoteline Direct have adapted to meet the needs of the modern Insurance Consumer. No longer do people want to traipse up and down the high street looking for insurance, wasting time standing in a shop filling in forms. After many years' experience dealing with customers over the telephone, including running schemes for major motor manufacturers Quoteline Direct decided to expand their business nationally. In June 1993 Quoteline Direct opened a new Quote Centre and increased their national awareness under the Quoteline Direct banner.
By strengthening Quoteline Direct's position as specialists in the affinity scheme marketplace they were successful in dramatically increasing Gold Club partners in the latter part of the decade. Following widespread research and customer consultation, Quoteline Direct saw out 1999 by closing their High Street network and opening the new Call Centre in Manchester.
The vast majority of Quoteline Direct's new customers come on personal recommendation from existing satisfied clients. Quoteline Direct believe that their never ending commitment to providing first class customer service will ensure that they continue to grow. To this end Quoteline Direct have invested in the very latest computer and telephone technology, all departments are centralised under one roof, one number covers all customer enquiries and Quoteline Direct pursue extensive staff training programs.
