Together, Performance Direct and its parent company, Grove and Dean Ltd, now provide a full range of financial services, Grove and Dean as Independent Financial Advisors and Corporate Insurance Consultants, Performance Direct as Insurance Intermediaries. It is a family run business employing over 100 staff with offices and a purpose built call centre in Hornchurch, Essex.

This has resulted in significant benefits to Performance Direct clients. Customers records are stored on a central computer which can be accessed by all departments. The vast majority of enquiries are handled instantly without the need to refer to paper records which have traditionally caused delay and inefficiency within the insurance industry. Ever focused on customer's requirements, a new system has now completely changed the way Performance Direct store and retrieve documentation.
For some time, Performance Direct staff have generated computerised proposal forms that are completed on behalf of their customers. This system means that when a customer contacts Performance Direct's office via email or by telephone and gives their details, if the quotation and policy is acceptable, sales staff will undertake a procedure that allows full policy documentation to be despatched on the same day.
